The hills
of Montefeltro
In

Petriano
with the spa of Saint Raffaello
It
stands on a hill, on the right side of the Apsa River, close to
Urbino, to which its history has always been tied.
It is a medieval fortified structure, well known for the numerous
properties of its thermal waters (Sulphurous, waters containing
bromine, sodium chloride and iodide, Minerals, Marine) frequented since
the ancient times by the cavaliers of the Montefeltro court and also by
the great Raffaello, from whom the name of the spa comes.

Urbino
World
heritage of mankind, the ideal town of the Renaissance,
it is an architectural jewel, rich of monuments, churches and
testimonies of the glorious history of the duchy of Urbino.
Don’t miss: the Ducal Palace,
the National Gallery of
the Marche with the masterpieces by Raffaello,
Piero Della Francesca,
Tiziano
and lots of others artists of the Marche.
Pesaro
The
hometown of Gioacchino Rossini stands on
the Adriatic coast and it is about 28 km far from Petriano.
You should visit: the churches of Saint Domenico
and Saint Agostino, Saint
Giovanni Battista, the Ducal Palace,
several mansions, the gat and the beach.
In the neighbourhood there are the castles of Novilara
and Candelara, where you can enjoy wonderful panoramas.
